The first day they sent Ed to do the work. We talked about the project and both begin demoing the wall. I always wanted to demo a wall and they had no problem letting me do it. The day did not go well. Ed, the carpenter, did not have a hammer and had to borrow mine. Ed had no vacuum cleaner or a step stool and had to borrow mine. Ed had had no garbage can to remove the demo..yes he borrowed mine. The most disrespectful part was he decided not to clean the vacuum cleaner and the step stool off once they were done. Very unprofessional.
Ed also had to leave to go to Home depot twice. I know that because he left oil stains in my driveway both times in two different spots. What else went wrong with Ed?
Once the pocket doors were installed they squeaked. They were uneven. Ed decided to use my house as a training ground to train his sidekick on how to install the pocket door hardware. Ed was ready to go before I showed how the doors squeaked and the hardware was uneven.
